For times when you need to export and share data from Sheets with people outside of your organization you can use the Share a Document feature or use the Export data option in Sheets.
To export data from Sheets:
- Navigate to the Sheet that contains the data that needs to be exported
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Sheet
- Click on Export and then select CSV
- The system will export and download the data to a UTF-8 CSV file in your local downloads folder
- The downloaded CSV file will be titled “sheet-export.csv”
