Install the Desktop App

Overview

The Samepage desktop app is available for Windows and Mac. We highly recommend you install and use the native Samepage Desktop App so you can:

  • Launch and go in one click

  • Eliminate browser dependency and distractions

  • Receive real-time updates and notifications

  • Get automatic app updates, so you’re always on the latest version of Samepage

 

Installing the Desktop App

Head on over to our Download page and click the app for your operating system. After you’ve downloaded it, double click on it to begin installation, then simply follow the prompts.

If you experience issues installing the Samepage Desktop App (Windows only):

Users running McAfee or Kaspersky antivirus software on Windows may experience issues installing the Samepage desktop app. 

This is most likely caused by a real-time protection feature of these antivirus solutions that prevents the installation of the Samepage desktop app and other Electron-based apps. 

In order to successfully install the Samepage desktop app, temporarily disable or turn off the McAfee/Kaspersky real-time protection feature. Download and install the Samepage desktop app, then turn the real-time protection feature back on.
