Export data from Sheet

For times when you need to export and share data from Sheets with people outside of your organization you can use the Share a Document feature or use the Export data option in Sheets.

To export data from Sheets:

  1. Navigate to the Sheet that contains the data that needs to be exported
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Sheet
  3. Click on Export and then select CSV
  4. The system will export and download the data to a UTF-8 CSV file in your local downloads folder
  5. The downloaded CSV file will be titled “sheet-export.csv”
