Create a Task

Overview

Samepage gives you the flexibility to manage tasks in a way that suits your workflow. You can create, view, and manage tasks in multiple ways. You can create tasks in Task Boards, in Page, Sheet, Mindmap, and File Documents, and in My Agenda Tasks.

Tasks created in Task Boards, Page, Sheet, Mindmap and File Documents are visible to everyone who has access rights to the Folder where the document resides.

Tasks created directly in My Agenda Tasks are private tasks that only you and participants and attendees can see. These tasks are not visible inside Documents or Folders.

Create a Task on a Task Board

Create a Task in Page, Sheet, Mindmap, and File Documents

  1. Click to open the Document where you want to add the associated task
  2. Click on the blue Agenda button
  3. Click on + Task button
  4. The system will create and open the New Task dialog so that you can add the task information
  5. Click Create Task

Create a Task in My Agenda

  1. Navigate to My Agenda
  2. Click on My Agenda Task
  3. Click + Task
  4. The system will create and open the New Task dialog so that you can add the task information
  5. Click Create Task
